Now that we have a basic understand of MySQL, let’s start learning some SQL commands.

In the previous chapter, we learned to create and use a database. In this chapter, we’ll learn to add tables to our database. We’ll also learn to alter and delete the tables if necessary. This is a relatively long chapter, so take your time to slowly go through it.

In the previous two chapters, we learned to create, alter and drop our databases and tables. In this chapter, we’ll learn to insert data into our tables. We’ll also learn to update and delete data.

Inserting, Updating and Deleting Data

In this chapter, we’ll learn to select data from our database. This is a relatively large topic, so we’ll be splitting it into three chapters.

Selecting Data Part 1

In the previous chapter, we learned quite a few keywords that we can use to select data from our tables.

Selecting Data Part 2

We’ve covered quite a few data selection concepts in the last two chapters. Those two chapters focused mainly on selecting data from a single table.

Selecting Data Part 3

In the last three chapters, we learned to write some pretty complex SELECT statements to get information from our databases.
