Scottish start-up Pure Heavenly has launched a delicious range of guilt-free vegan chocolate, which is the UK’s only low sugar (less than 2%) dairy-free milk chocolate bar.
Sounds too good to be true? It’s not!
Pure Heavenly replaces milk with rice cream for creamy chocolate with all the mouthfeel of milk chocolate — it’s very hard to replicate a milk chocolate bar without adding lots of sugar, so it’s hugely innovative (they’ve already sold more than a million bars online!).
The founder, Stephen Conway, created the chocolate in response to his two daughter’s dairy intolerances. He even wowed the Dragons in the Den on the popular TV show, with an offer of £75,000 investment from Peter Jones.
